Ingredients  

  • 2 cups Full Fat Cottage Cheese
  • 3 Large Eggs
  • 1/2 cup Whole Milk
  • 1/4 cup Vanilla Protein Powder
  • 1/4 cup Pure Maple Syrup
  • 2 tsp Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 1/8 tsp Fine Sea Salt
  • 4 cups Hot Water
  • 3 tbsp Granulated Sugar

Instructions 

  • Preheat the oven to 325 F. Arrange six ramekins inside a deep baking dish.
  • Blend the cottage cheese, eggs, milk, vanilla protein powder, maple syrup, vanilla, and salt for 1 to 2 minutes, until completely smooth.
  • Divide the custard evenly among the ramekins. Pour the hot water into the baking dish around the ramekins, stopping halfway up their sides.
  • Bake for 28 to 34 minutes, until the edges are set but the centers still have a gentle wobble.
  • Remove the ramekins from the water and cool for 30 minutes. Refrigerate for at least 3 hours, until thoroughly chilled.
  • Sprinkle 1 1/2 teaspoons granulated sugar in an even layer over each custard.
  • Place the ramekins under a preheated broiler for 1 to 2 minutes, watching continuously, until the sugar melts into a deep golden crust. Rest for 2 minutes before serving.
